Sweco offers dredging and dewatering services for both natural and industrial ponds and lagoons. In most cases these services can be provided without taking treatment ponds out of service. Typical service descriptions include: lagoon cleaning, sludge removal, sludge disposal, dewatering sludge and mobile sludge dewatering equipment rental. This includes the incorporation of high-volume hydraulic dredging with standard Sweco dewatering equipment such as shakers, hydrocyclones, polymer systems coupled with centrifuges or filter presses to allow clear effluent to be returned to the pond while dewatering solids to a manageable state for transport and disposal without leakage.
Dredge Sweco can provide all or part of this service at a volume cost, daily rate or total job cost. Sweco can also provide a strategy to clean and clear lagoons while providing permanent systems to eliminate or reduce the need for the lagoon, thus opening up valuable real estate for other uses.
